EAGLES POSTGAME: Eagles vs. Buccaneers, Week 4

Week 4 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 31-25 down at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay. They are now 4-0 on the season and right at the top of the NFC East division. This game was certainly a tale of two halves with he Eagles offense being dominant and in control in the first half, and completely anemic in the second.

Jalen Hurts showed how he’s a top-tier quarterback in the NFL to start this game as he was 15/16 for 130 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 140.1 passer rating in the first half. The second half stalled and didn’t progress well for Hurts, his receivers, or the rushing attack. While the offense didn’t put up great-looking numbers, they got the job done and helped secure a win.

The defensive pass rush is the most pressing issue facing the Eagles as it’s almost nonexistent. While the defense had two sacks today, they only had one quarterback hit and weren’t able to rattle Bucs QB Baker Mayfield. Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean were, however, such strong defenders in this game. They were definitely the MVPs of the defense.

As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.
