All of it wasn’t the brand of football Eagles fans have become used to. Jeff had the opportunity to interview former Philadelphia Phillies Von Hayes, Doug Glanville, and Bob Dernier at the Reading Hot Stovers Banquet in Reading, PA. All three shared some great stories about their upbringing, how they grew attached to baseball, and what their careers meant to them while playing in the big leagues. These were fantastic discussions!

The Philadelphia Flyers continue to progress during their rebuild as the season moves along. There are strengths and there are certainly weaknesses on this team. The week, the guys assess the Flyers’ approach to coaching, the power play, offensive attack and more. Ryan Gilbert from BroadStreetHockey.com joined us this week for a deep dive into this team, its coaching, and the positives we’re seeing this season. It was a fantastic conversation!

The Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now officially over as they lost to the San Francisco 49’ers at The Linc by a score of 23-19. Once again, the prevalent theme of this season was the offense not being able to do enough and score in the second half. After stalling on multiple drives with a number of 3-and-outs, the offensive scheme was the Achilles heel for the team. Consequently, the Eagles defense, which had been elite for much of the season, faltered in the end as well. The Eagles now head to the offseason where a lot of difficult decisions will need to be made before the 2026 season.
