Eagles vs. Colts Postgame | Week 11
Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books. The Birds end up pulling out a win by the skin of their teeth against the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 17-16 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Eagles are now 9-1 on the season, and they remain first in the NFC East division.
This was a game of self-inflicted wounds by the Eagles offense. Fumbles by Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown kept the Colts in this game. Penalties by the offense - mainly on the tight ends - showed us some bad football. Jason Kelce almost hiking the ball over Hurts's head in the first half hurt as the Eagles offense was in the red zone, looking to score. However, Jalen Hurts brought this Eagles team back in the fourth quarter for the win.
The Eagles run defense was a huge concern early in the game, but they settled down. If it wasn't for the defensive play, overall, the Birds would not have won this game.
As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.
