Eagles vs. Packers Postgame | Week 12

Week 12 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books! The Birds absolutely dominated the Green Bay Packers on the ground and beat them by a score of 40-33 at The Linc. The Eagles are now 10-1 on the season, and they remain first in the NFC East division. This week, Matt Rogers (@politidope) from The Honorable Mention Podcast joined us for our analysis.

The biggest theme of this game: the rushing attack on offense. 363 total yards on the ground propelled this offense to new heights as a powerhouse in the NFL. Jalen Hurts set the record tonight for the most rushing yards by a QB in a single-game in Eagles history. The Eagles offensive line was absolutely unstoppable and certainly rebounded from last week's game.

The Eagles defense will receive some scrutiny after allowing the Packers to score 33 points in their house. 9 of those points, however, came off Eagles offensive turnovers, and a very conservative defensive structure and effort toward the end of the game when Jordan Love came in for Aaron Rodgers who left the game with an injury.

Also, special teams was horrendous. On kick returns, they gave up 32, 52, and 53 yards. A terrible performance as their coach Michael Clay hasn't been coaching this unit up to where they need to be.

As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.
