Flyers, WFC.jpg

What we're throwing down on the Table this week is a discussion and interview with Madeline Campbell from BroadStreetHockey.com about the return of this Flyers team! Yes, it's the preseason, but the regular season will be here before we know it. There's a lot of storylines we're following and players to chit-chat about!

But first, we reflected on this Phillies season as the end approaches, how the mediocrity persisted and what needs to happen this coming offseason. (approx. 7:10)

We then talked about how this Philadelphia Eagles team isn't instilling much confidence in the fan base as Miles Sanders carried the ball twice this past week and there's no apparent chemistry between the quarterback and wide receivers. Plus, our scoring predictions for this week's Chiefs vs. Eagles game at The Linc. (approx. 17:25)

Right after our Eagles talk, we gave our feedback on the leaked Sixers retro jersey, and how Joel Embiid handled himself during the Sixers Media Day this past week especially regarding Ben Simmons. (approx. 26:05)

We dove into some college football talk as Temple has seen two players leave their program. The transfer carousel is real and alive! (approx. 39:45)

We then talked to Cam Rogers from the Bleav Podcast Network about NFL betting trends this season and how the Chiefs vs. Eagles game looks this week. (approx. 47:20)

This week's interview, and what we threw down on the Table was a discussion with Madeline Campbell from Broad Street Hockey about certain expectations for the Philadelphia Flyers this coming season as the preseason is underway. How can Giroux elevate the talent around him given the changes to his game? Who are some key Flyers under the age of 25 who may impress us this year? Will the defense be a bright spot after this past disastrous season? All of this and much more Flyers talk this week! (approx. 59:00)
