The Pain Of The Flyers Rebuild And Season

The Philadelphia Flyers' season certainly hasn't been pretty. It's what you get when you're looking at a rebuild - and a painful rebuild as well. This week, Christopher Maher (@_ChrisMaher) from Philly Hockey Now joined us to dive into this Flyers season, what we're seeing on the ice, and the pain we've been feeling. It was a great discussion with Chris!

But first, we discussed the upcoming NBA collective bargaining agreement and what it means for the future of professional basketball. Plus we talked about Tyrese Maxey's absence from the Sixers and the need for his return soon. (approx. 7:50)

We then moved onto a discussion about Carlos Correa's new deal with the Mets and how things now look in the NL East. (approx. 19:55)

From there, we dove into this Eagles team, Jalen Hurts's injury, and the biggest mismatch this week against the Cowboys. (approx. 30:45)

Then, due to the holiday season, what would be our best holiday gift from the world of Philly Sports heading into 2023? (approx. 38:20)

What we threw down on the Table this week was a great, in-depth discussion with Christopher Maher from Philly Hockey Now about the pain we're feeling as we watch this Flyers rebuild. What does a season like this one do to Carter Hart's continued development, short-term and long-term? The Kevin Hayes and John Tortorella saga playing out in front of the media. The loss of Cam Atkinson and development of Noah Cates. Plus much more this week on the Table! (approx. 46:45)
